Working on a creation to test my skills after working on only one project after taking only one class of animation and so far I'm surprising myself

I've noticed in a lot of your posts that the images are incredibly cluttered. When doing even a simple screenshot to show to others you should try to set it up as a presentation so people can give better feedback. Isolate the objects you want to display, change the background to a non-gradient color that lets the object display clearly, and remove the UI and deselect the object. There are settings in maya that allow you to display the contours on the object without selecting it (though unless you're trying to get a critique on edge flow you shouldn't be showing them at all).
